Miles Teller must have known that in a romantic comedy led by guys, there’d have to be a little potty humor — but he had no idea that he’d be expected to go nude in That Awkward Moment. So when it came time to lay across a toilet in an effort to pee after taking Viagra, Miles wasn’t totally stoked on the idea.

“I didn’t realize it was going to be fully nude like that,” Miles admitted to E! Online at the Sundance Film Festival at the premiere of his movie, Whiplash. “Zac is in good shape and Michael [B. Jordan] is in good shape. I had just gotten done doing a movie where I wasn’t in that good of shape. I was drinking the whole time.”

But don’t worry — Miles offered up an alternative.

“So I showed up and I was also on antibiotics and I felt bloated and they said, ‘Take your clothes off!’ I said, ‘I’m not taking everything off. I’m going to take my pants off but leave my shirt on,” Miles said.

That Awkward Moment and Whiplash aren’t all Miles has going for him, either. The upcoming Divergent release will be the first time one of his films goes international, which he considers a huge sign of success.

“I think it’s good if your work is seen internationally,” Miles said. “It’s hard for a mall movie to kind of get in theaters outside the country… I’m introducing myself to the European market.”

And, apparently, kicking Tom Cruise’s butt along the way, as far as action scenes are concerned.

“We were running on trains going like 12 [and] 14 miles per hour,” Miles added. “I heard Tom Cruise only does 17 miles per hour. I’m, like, just below Tom Cruise.”
