Sometimes, it's best to just keep your hands to yourself. Indeed, Jonah Hill is revealing that one beloved acting legend recently put his hands, well... let's leave that to Jonah to explain.

Jonah — who is nominated for Best Supporting Actor for his role in Martin Scorsese's film, The Wolf of Wall Street — appeared on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon this week, and he tells Jimmy that his personal acting hero, Joe Pesci, recently got a little cheeky with him.

"I love Joe Pesci," Jonah, 30, tells Jimmy of the Casino and My Cousin Vinnie star. "Goodfellas is my favorite film of all time, and his performance is my favorite."

Jonah explains that he spoke to Joe for only the second ever at the recent Wolf premiere, as Martin Scorsese called Jonah over to say hi to Joe.

Then, things got a bit strange. "[Joe] goes, 'You're great in the movie, kid, I'm really proud of you,'" Jonah reveals. "And he goes, 'Here's what I want you to do: I want you to go buy a helmet.' And I go, 'okay…'"

"He goes, 'I want you to keep the helmet next to your bed, and then every night, I want you to go in the bathroom and put the helmet on — every night,'" Jonah continues. "'And if ever the helmet doesn't fit, it's because too many people are going up here.' And he puts his fingers in my ass!" Yikes!

So how did Jonah respond? "[Joe] was dying laughing, and I was dying laughing, and he's like 'Good job, kid,' and he like left," he says. "I was like, 'You're the coolest person I've met in my entire life!'" Jonah says, adding, "He's just a man's man."

It's nice to know that Joe is behind Jonah all the way. (Get it — "behind"?)
