In virtually no time, Toni Braxton has gone from broke to balling, and she’s got the new multimillion dollar digs to prove it.

The Braxton Family Values star, who has filed for bankruptcy twice in the past — once in 1998 and again in 2010, when her debts were said to be somewhere in the vast range between $1 and $50 million — has turned her financial luck around.

Now, rather than spending her hard-earned cash on whatever it was that made her bankrupt in the past — hair extensions? Barely-there dresses? That sexy light-up pedestal from the “You’re Makin’ Me High” video? — Toni has wisely used her money to keep a roof over her head.

TMZ reports that the singer-turned-reality star has ponied up some big bucks and purchased a house in tony Calabasas, California gated community The Oaks. The house, which was purchased for just under $3 million, boasts four bedrooms, five baths, and a spacious 5,323 in total square footage. In addition to plenty of room, Toni will get to enjoy (or totally hate) rubbing elbows with fellow musicians who live in the community, like recently-jailed prankster Justin Bieber, who lives just doors down from her new pad.

Toni isn’t the only celeb who has made the decision to call The Oaks her home in recent months — Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick reportedly just spent $5.8 million on a new home in the exclusive enclave.
