Tori Spelling may have made herself a household name as rich girl Donna Martin on 90210, but off-screen, her life is becoming less and less lavish.
Tori, whose producer father, Aaron Spelling, had an estimated net worth of $600 million dollars at the time of his death, is reportedly so hard-up for cash that she can't afford to cut ties with hubby Dean McDermott, despite allegations he's been cheating on her.
A source tells RadarOnline.com, "She would definitely kick Dean to the curb if she could financially afford to do so … Tori has admitted she would file for divorce from Dean, but she is afraid she would go broke."
Dean, who was recently accused of having an illicit rendezvous with a woman named Emily Goodhand prior to his admission to rehab for "health and personal issues," reportedly has no prenup with his wife, an issue that's temporarily keeping Tori from cutting ties with him.
"She’s now kicking herself for not securing the prenup with Dean. She doesn’t plan on divorcing Dean, but feels that a prenup might could have prevented him from cheating on her," says a pal, adding, "Tori is the sole breadwinner. Dean wouldn’t settle for anything less than joint custody, and Tori would be forced to pay him spousal and child support."
While Dean hasn't publicly admitted to getting down with another woman, prior to entering rehab, he offered up minor mea culpa. "I am truly sorry for the mistakes I have made and for the pain I've caused my family," said the star.
We hope the pair can work things out, but if not, at least Tori's next memoir practically writes itself!
