Don't bother telling Valeria Lukyanova about our society's push to embrace "real" beauty, flaws-and-all. She thrives on the unreal, as GQ writer Michael Idov found out while profiling this "Human Barbie" — and as you can see in this photo here.

For the article, writer Michael Idov travels to Odessa, Ukraine, to get to know Valeria — and to get a glimpse of how she maintains that disconcerting and seemingly impossible appearance.

The resulting interview is shocking. For one, Valeria — or Amatue, as she likes to call herself — claims to have had only one surgery: breast implants. That scary-skinny waist? She it's the result of diet and exercise.

Part of that diet, as Michael discovers at an Indian restaurant where they meet, is a stomach-turning blend of carrot juice and three chutneys.

And though she may be trying other cuisines, Valeria is not a fan of other types of ethnic sampling.

"Ethnicities are mixing now, so there's degeneration, and it didn't used to be like that. Remember how many beautiful women there were in the 1950s and 1960s, without any surgery? And now, thanks to degeneration, we have this."

Yeesh. For more on this "racist space alien," as Michael dubs her, check out GQ's April 2014 issue.
