No one will be able to deny the chemistry between Angelina Jolie and a certain co-star in an upcoming movie of hers. Deadline reports Angie is in "early talks" to star opposite her husband, Brad Pitt, in a new film. Better yet, Angie wrote the script!
The last time these two Hollywood mega-stars shared the screen was in 2005 and the action-comedy Mr. and Mrs. Smith. Back then, Brad was still married to Jennifer Aniston. But aforementioned chemistry could not be ignored, and before long, Brad and Jen were done and Brangelina was born.
Not much is known about this new project, but it will mark Angelina's second bout as screenwriter. Her writing debut — and also her directorial debut — was 2011's In the Land of Blood and Honey, a romance set during the Bosnian War.
That project earned Angelina her second gig in the director's chair for Unbroken, written by the Coen Brothers and adapted from a Laura Hillenbrand book. The film — set for release on December 25 — tells the true story of Olympic track star Louis Zamperini, who became a Japanese prisoner of war during World War II.
So let's see: She's an actress, humanitarian, writer, mother, and director — a real quintuple-threat! We can't wait to see what she wrote for herself and her handsome hubby.
