There should be a TV show just called Watch Shirtless Zac Efron ___. Read a book. Solve puzzles. Play with puppies. Whatever.
In this particular case, it's a double dose of hotness as both the High School Musical alum and Bear Grylls strip down to rappel down a cliff.
Watch the video below for a sneak peek Zac's stint on Running Wild with Bear Grylls, which is coming to NBC later this month. Other celebs taking part, separately, include Channing Tatum, Ben Stiller, Tom Arnold, Deion Sanders and newscaster Tamron Hall.
According to NBC, on Running Wild, "the famed adventurer and survivalist will take celebrities into the most remote and wild locations in the U.S. and around the world for a 48-hour journey of a lifetime." The show is meant to take viewers inside the hearts and minds of the celebs as they're in vulnerable positions outside of their comfort zones.
Being shirtless isn’t exactly outside Zac’s comfort zone, but eating a worm probably does qualify and he’ll do that at some point on the show. In the sneak peek below, you see the shirtless men rappel side-by-side from quite a great height. It does seem pretty daunting — but from here, it comes off as more bromantic than scary. As one YouTuber asked, "Is this Brokeback Mountain trailer?" No, but it does look like an interesting show! You can also check out this preview of Zac edging across a great divide via a tightrope. That one IS very scary. Yikes.
Running Wild with Bear Grylls premieres Monday, July 28 at 8 p.m. on NBC. Will you watch?
