Courtney Love may not be feeling the love from her accountants. The 50-year-old Hole frontwoman reveals to the U.K.'s Sunday Times (per Us Weekly) that she has lost a lottery jackpot amount of money.

"I lost about $27 million," the 50-year-old musician confesses. "I know that's a lifetime of money to most people, but I'm a big girl. It's rock 'n roll. It's Nirvana money. I had to let it go. I make enough to live on. I'm financially solvent. I focus on what I make now."

Those comments imply that she inherited that bygone fortune from late husband and Nirvana lead singer Kurt Cobain, who committed suicide in 1994.

Courtney — who has a 21-year-old daughter from her time with Kurt, Frances Bean Cobain — explains that a lot of that money went to various lawsuit settlements.

We give her points for not trivializing the loss of that money, but it's not exactly "a lifetime of money" to most people — unless most people earn, say, $675,000 per year for 40 years!

In any case, Courtney can look forward to a little more income this year: She has a multi-episode arc in the seventh and final season of Sons of Anarchy.

Maybe she'll eventually earn on that money back!
