We sure hope Sean Kingston isn’t too Bentley out of shape after his luxury car got repossessed last night. The 24-year-old Jamaican-American rapper was chilling at the Mondrian Hotel in West Hollywood on March 26 when the repo men came a-callin'.
The fact that the hot car was parked out front made the Bentley all the easier to find on busy Sunset Boulevard. It also meant passersby got to see the whole embarrassing event play out in front of them. Notified that his car was being taken away, Sean came out of the hotel and is clearly heard saying “I paid for it already” in video courtesy of TMZ (fair warning: Sean also uses a few choice swear words in the clip).
The “Take You There” singer’s pleas fell on deaf ears, however, and his Bent got towed. The cops were also called, adds TMZ, though no arrests were made.
The unexpected turn of events didn’t stop the rapper, who’s had much more serious brushes with the law in the past, from continuing his evening though; Sean was later spotted at a different bar.
Sean’s rep hasn’t commented on the matter as of publishing but we did heard Sean was able to make it home safe. He took an Uber.
