Here's a shocker: Some of those stars being just like us moments are totally orchestrated by sponsors. You don't say! One case in point is California musical extravaganza Coachella, known for great bands, wild parties, and during happier times, a whole lot of Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev PDA.
Much like companies pay money to slap their logo on a race car, they also shell out the big bucks to get their clothing on celebrities and, sometimes, to get those finely dressed celebrities to their events, and it doesn't come cheap.
So which stars aren't shelling out the year's savings to go to Coachella like us mere mortals but are actually getting paid to attend? Our friends at Hollyscoop break down which stars have a monetary incentive to attend the festival, as researched by the NY Daily News blog Confidenti@l. For all the juicy details, watch the video above!
Glee's Lea Michele is reportedly getting paid a cool $20,000 to rep a preppy clothing company. Former Disney star and known Coachella devotee Vanessa Hudgens is reportedly getting paid $15,000 by a fast food chain. According to Confidenti@l, some celebs are still seeking sponsors — the price tag on Breaking Bad star Aaron Paul, who met his wife at the festival, is $15,000. Joe Jonas is seeking around $20,000. Kate Bosworth has the steepest price tag of all, at $30,000, according to NYDN's sources.
