Esquire has something for everyone on its May 2014 issue! Depending on which cover you get, you'll either admire a shot of shirtless Tom Hardy or a portrait of topless Lake Bell.
OK, so going bare from the waist up is a lot easier for guys than it is for gals. But Lake has no qualms about disrobing, as she explains to HitFix.
"I've done it in the past, and I really don't care," the 35-year-old actress tells the site. "I have a sense of humor about nudity and all that. It's like, 'Hey, so what? We all get naked.' In a more serious way, there is a female empowerment — there is something [empowering] about being nude — and just owning it."
Considering that N.B.D. attitude, it's no wonder this is the second time in recent months that theMillion Dollar Arm beauty has bared it all for a magazine cover. In August, Lake went full-frontal onNew York Magazine, with an elaborate rose tattoo covering her body.
But Lake isn't just notable for her brazen body-baring, she's also a heavy-hitting Hollywood talent — having written, directed, and starred in the Sundance-winning film In a World… In fact, she’s getting such a rep Esquire suggests she's the "Most Important Actor/Director/Writer of Her Generation"
More power to her!
