Mo money, mo problems? Not if you ask Diddy!
Diddy, who has spent decades carving out a career for himself as a rapper, producer, actor, and designer, may not spend as much time in the spotlight as he once did, but make no mistake — he’s still making money hand over fist.
The 44-year-old mogul is on the fast track to becoming the hip hop world’s first billionaire, with a net worth of $700 million, $120 million of which was earned in the past year alone. While it’s no surprise that Diddy’s got some hustle in him — after all, this is a guy who has been convincing people to wear sweat suits and Canadian tuxedos with his name emblazoned across them for years and calling it fashion — it certainly comes as a shock to see numbers that large associated with anyone who isn’t a shipping heir or born royal.
Although Diddy could certainly retire now and spend the rest of his days drinking Cristal out of a diamond goblet on a private island, he’s still got plenty of money-making schemes up his sleeve. This year marks the launch of Diddy’s latest venture, Revolt TV, which promises to give audiences a refresher course on just what music television should look like.
While Diddy’s holding on tight to the title of richest hip hop artist, he may not be able to keep it for long. Hear who else is in the running by watching the video above!
