Just days after taking the Met Gala red carpet by storm with wife Deborra-Lee Furness, Hugh Jackman went under the knife for the second time in six months. The 45-year-old received treatment for skin cancer, a diagnosis he first received back in November 2013.
At the time, Hugh had a basal cell carcinoma removed. The slow growing form of skin cancer was found on his nose and, by all accounts, was easily removed. A stern-looking Hugh shared a photo of his bandaged snout and made a full recovery.
Unfortunately, the cancer returned, so Hugh had to be treated again. “Another Basal Cell Carsinoma [sic]. All out now. Thanks Dr. Albom and Dr. Arian. PLEASE! PLEASE! WEAR SUNSCREEN!,” he captioned the latest Instagram of his banged up nose. See it for yourself in the video above.
We expect Hugh to heal up quick and be back making women faint soon. We’re just glad he’s got one lady in particular looking out for him: Deborra-Lee. It was Hugh’s wife of 18 years who first encouraged her man to get his sniffer checked out. “Boy, was she right!” Hugh said back in November about getting the recommended check-up.
Take care of yourself, Hugh, and maybe start wearing hats!
