Channing Tatum’s Sweet Story From Daughter Everly’s First Birthday
It’s not a jump of the imagination to think we’ve been seriously going ga-ga over one of Hollywood’s hottest dads. Channing Tatum and wife Jenna Dewan Tatum welcomed daughter Everly just over a year ago; the 22 Jump Street star recently talked with fellow new father Jimmy Fallon about how he and Jenna celebrated their little girl’s big day.
Stopping by The Tonight Show, Channing (or, as Jimmy christened him by the end of the episode, Dick Tugnuts) practically glowed when talking fatherhood. Jimmy shared the sweet snap Channing showed off the day of Everly’s birthday (you know, the one where she’s sporting fairy wings and a pink tutu).
“I wore the exact same outfit actually. I swear to God, I wore fairy wings all day,” the hunky actor told Jimmy. “Jenna loves fairies so therefore I love fairies, and everyone has to wear fairy wings all the time,” he added, dutiful husband that he is.
Not so glowing was Channing's critique of his own beatboxing skills, which use to be a surefire way to calm Everly down when crying.
