Alyssa Milano Clears Up All Those ‘Charmed’ Reboot Rumors
In the TV landscape, it’s currently peak reboot season.
The 43-year-old ignited the speculation herself, telling Entertainment Tonight, “It seems like [a cast reunion's] going to happen any second,” as the Halliwell Sisters' 10-year series finale anniversary approaches.
“I just feel like with all these [TV] reunions,” she continued, “someone’s going to put that together at some point. And we’re all totally on board for that!”
Now, her excitement has turned to caution, tweeting, “Nothing has been confirmed. CBS is developing a reboot without the original cast. That's all I know for sure.”

With all the reunion shows it seems like #charmed would be a great choice since we have the most loyal and best fans ever. But... (Cont.)Alyssa Milano (@Alyssa_Milano) March 5, 2016
I would imagine until CBS makes a decision on their reboot a true reunion type of show will not be happening due to CBS owning the rights.Alyssa Milano (@Alyssa_Milano) March 5, 2016
The mom of two went on to explain that while she thinks a reunion would be power-of-three awesome, it’s unlikely.
The former child actress believes the network won’t make a decision about an old series when they’re not even sure what they want from a new one.
Strangely, an updated Charmed — which was being considered back in 2013 — seemed dead in the water as of 2014.
But much weirder things have happened when it comes to Phoebe, Piper, Prue, Paige, and (yes!) Billie. So who knows what could happen next?
