Dancing With the Stars pro Cheryl Burke has never been anything but super fit — she's a professional dancer, it kind of comes with the territory — but over the last year the already slender beauty shed 15 pounds, and now she's flaunting her awesome figure.
Cheryl spilled on her weight loss at Maxim's Hot 100 Party, where she explained that the key to her new physique isn't a diet, it's a "total lifestyle change."
"I've tried all the diets in the world," she explained. "For me, it's just about feeling healthy. I know I have to break a sweat every single day, and that makes me want to take care of my body."
She went on to add that she's been "taking care of [herself]," and emphasized that she's been doing it "in a healthy way."
What does that mean? "I've just been working out!" she said. "I mean, I have a trainer now." She also added tips like staying active even when you're on vacation, and not eating late at night. Sometimes, the basics are key.
Cheryl also mentioned that five years ago she was criticized for being "too fat for TV" (ridiculous), but says that's not why she lost weight — she did it for her, so she can feel healthy, which is the best reason!
