Cheyenne Jackson Engaged — Six Months After His Divorce!
Cheyenne Jackson’s marriage to Monte Lapka might not have worked out, but that doesn’t mean the former Glee guest star has given up on love. Us Weekly reports that Cheyenne is preparing to walk down the aisle once again. He’s engaged to actor Jason Landau, six months after announcing that he and husband Monte were getting a divorce.
Glee fans will remember Cheyenne for his role as sharp-tongued Vocal Adrenaline coach Dustin Goolsby back in Seasons 2 and 3. He’s also a seasoned Broadway actor and is known for his work on the TV show 30 Rock as well.
Cheyenne came out as gay in 2005, but he’d actually been in a relationship with Monte long before that. The couple married in NYC two years ago, but they’d been together for 11 years prior. "It's a sad thing anytime a relationship ends," Cheyenne said at the time. "We had a good long run, almost 13 years... [The split] was mutual and it was amicable. He is a wonderful man."
So what about his hubby-to-be? Jason is an actor who has appeared on Will & Grace and American Dreams. He and Cheyenne made their public debut as a couple in October 2013, about three months after Cheyenne’s split.
"They've already begun planning the wedding!" a source tells Us Weekly. Looks like we have another name to add to the list of Glee stars who are currently engaged. Holy smokes. Is it just us, or does the Glee cast really love being in love?
