Chord Overstreet to Star in Feature Comedy Fourth Man Out — Report
We just told you about Naya Rivera’s (Santana) big screen debut in At the Devil’s Door, and now it looks like one of her Glee co-star’s is following suit, starring in a movie of his very own. Who is the movie star in the making, you ask? It’s none other than Chord Overstreet (Sam)!
Unlike Naya, Chord has appeared in a handful of movies before, but his list of feature film roles is by no means extensive. Per the Film Albany Facebook page, Chord landed a big part in a comedy called Fourth Man Out, written by Aaron Dancik. The flick is described as a “comedy about an auto mechanic in a small, working-class town who comes out of the closet to his three unsuspecting, blue-collar best friends and how they all handle the change in their relationship.”
The cast also includes Evan Todd (Sydney White), Parker Young (Suburgatory), Jon Gabrus (the upcoming movie, Flock of Dudes), and Kate Flannery (The Office). Andrew Nackman is slated to direct.
No major publications have confirmed Chord’s latest gig yet, but according to 25-year-old’s Twitter account he is (or was) in Albany, NY (where the movie is filming) late last month with Parker and Jon. On July 26 he tweeted, “Another night out in Albany w @Parker_Young and @jongabrus . Never a dull moment!”
It looks like Chord’s back in Los Angeles now getting ready to shoot the sixth and final season of Glee, but we can’t wait to find out more about this movie.
