Glee star Chris Colfer's (Kurt) career is really getting "hot"! Chris recently finished writing an upcoming Glee episode, and now he'll be appearing in an episode of Betty White's hit TV Land sitcom, Hot in Cleveland. Way to go, Chris!
TV Line reports that Chris will be appearing on the sitcom as Tony, the son of Wendie Malick's character, Victoria. The show's fifth season began last month, and Chris's episode will be filmed next week. We hope he won't have to skip out on filming a Glee episode in order to make the guest spot happen.
This has indeed been a busy time for Chris. He wrote Glee's Season 5, Episode 19: "Old Dogs, New Tricks," which will soon air — and speaking of dogs, he'll be voicing the lead role in the upcoming animated film Robodog.
Chris doesn't have a lot of TV experience outside of Glee, so it will be a lot of fun to see him play this new sitcom role. Coincidentally, the only other TV show Chris has appeared in was a 2011 episode of Fox's The Cleveland Show. It seems like Chris will only guest on shows that have the word "Cleveland" in the title.
Are you excited to see Chris on Hot in Cleveland?
