There’s bound to be many tears on the Glee set sometime next year when the show shoots its final episode, but star Chris Colfer (Kurt) isn’t exactly crying into his Cheerios just yet.

During a radio interview with EW Morning Live, Chris says he believes Season 6 of the show will start shooting in “September sometime” and also reflected on the upcoming last season of the FOX dramedy. “Honestly, when the final shot of the final episode [of Glee] is done, I think I’ll be sad then. But as everyone knows, the show is very, very hard to do. I mean, physically, a lot of hours, and a lot of work, dancing, singing, acting constantly,” he reasoned.

Even though we’re a bit shocked that Chris hasn’t started the Glee mourning process just yet, he did acknowledge that he’ll get there. Eventually. “I think I’m gonna have to wait until it’s absolutely over to be sad, is when it’ll hit me and I’ll be able to feel it. But now I’m just like, OK, got another season to do.’ But it’ll hit me when it’s over; it hasn’t quite hit me yet.”

We’d guess part of the reason Chris isn’t dreading the end of Glee yet has something to do with the fact that he confirmed he’ll be playing playwright/composer Noel Coward in an upcoming biopic. “Oh my God, I’m so excited for it. I was just in London,” he gushed. “It’s just incredible, and I really didn’t know too much about him until I was approached with the project. And then once I was like, ‘Oh yes, I know that name,’ and looked him up. I was just astonished by how many things that he accomplished, especially at a very, very young age and, not to toot my own horn, but we’re very similar people in the sense that we grew up in the theater and we’re both writers and actors and musicians.”

Even though the film is still in the early stages and most likely won’t be released until way after the Glee series finale airs, Chris is clearly enjoying the new project. “So far it’s been so much fun. I’ve gotten to — I went out to London to start prep work for it, and it was an amazing experience just like, kind of going around London seeing where he lived and, you know, working with people, meeting the fellow actors,” he said. “It has an amazing cast so far and I am so excited for that project.”

As for Glee, we’re just happy he’ll be involved in Season 6 after that “pain in the ass” Twitter hacking last week!
