Chris Harrison: Nikki and Clare’s Tension Will “Boil to the Surface” in Miami

Every season of The Bachelor seems to include an epic brouhaha between the ladies. So if you were worried that Season 18’s intra-bachelorette dynamics have seemed a tad tame, fear not! This season’s very own rumble in the mansion jungle is coming soon, courtesy of Nikki Ferrell and Clare Crawley.

We’ve been getting hints of tension between Clare and Nikki throughout the season thus far. Clare feels Juan Pablo Galavis doesn’t get to see Nikki’s true colors shining through, while Nikki finds Clare to be a bit (understatement) possessive of the guy. On February 17's Season 18 Episode 7, they’ll finally let each other know what they think.

In his Entertainment Weekly blog, Bachelor host Chris Harrison reveals that the Nikki-Clare drama is about to get kicked (soccer pun!) into high gear when the show lands in Miami next week. “The tension has been building between Nikki and Clare, and next week it will finally boil to the surface,” Chris writes.

Certainly, Chris’s hint seems consistent with what we see in the promo for the episode. Nikki tells Clare, “I don’t like you we’re never going to be friends,” before then adding that Clare is “fking crazy.”

Okay, so their issues don’t yet appear quite as train wreck-level amazing as AshLee Frazier and Tierra LiCausi’s eyebrow-related spat last season but you never know! Maybe Nikki and Clare will have trouble controlling their eyebrows, too.

Whose side are you on in the Nikki-Clare dispute? And do you think Juan Pablo will find out about their argument? Let us know in the comments!
