How could anyone “boo” our beloved Chris Harrison? That’s not acceptable — unless it’s “boo” like you’re calling out to your boyfriend. Then it’s just inaccurate, since he’s ours.

As host of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, Chris is usually the only sane person in the room — the voice of reason amid the most dramatic whatever of the moment. But on September 15, he joined Good Morning America’s Lara Spencer to host the 2014 Miss America Pageant, and for once he knew how it felt to be the “bad boy” of the show.

Chris had to pull a Kanye on Miss Florida Myrrhanda Jones when she was trying to answer a question during the interview segment. The audience did not appreciate Chris cutting her off. "It's a timed answer,” Chris announced in his defense. "Don't make me the bad guy!" But the mob was in a boo-ing mood, so they just got louder. Always affable, Chris just rolled with it. “All right, I’m the bad guy. Bring it on.”

Poor Chris. That night, he joked about the incident on Twitter: "Loved getting some boos tonight. I'm near Philly they must know I'm a Dallas boy! #MissAmerica @dallascowboys."

Nice! But it’s Florida he should be worried about. That could come back to bite him if he ever runs for president (as he should, of course) and there’s another voting discrepancy (no, we’re still not over it).

Chris is about to start a new journey with Juan Pablo Galavis, since filming for The Bachelor Season 18 is starting any minute now. If Chris gets booed by JP or the bachelorettes, then it’s really time to worry.
