Chris Harrison was one of the hundreds of travelers affected by this morning's tragic shooting at Los Angeles International Airport. The Bachelor and Bachelorette host was actually at LAX at the time of the incident and live-tweeted the goings-on.

As many outlets are reporting, a man with an assault rifle killed a TSA agent and injured others around 9:30 a.m. PT before authorities shot him and took him into custody. It's unclear as to whether the gunman is still alive.

At 9:37 a.m., Chris tweeted, "Something crazy going on at LAX right now. Terminals shut down and cops with guns drawn!"

Eight minutes later: "TSA just shut the doors in lockdown. Shooting over at Terminal 3."

Then he praised those who protected him and his fellow travelers: "Police very polite but guns drawn and very serious about clearing the streets on the top level of LAX. Everybody very calm and respectful … Incredible response by LAPD and airport authority. This place was locked tight with precision quickly. God bless first responders!"

When a fan tweeted at him to say that injuries had been reported, Chris wrote, "Yes, thoughts and prayers with the victims."

It's hard to tell if Chris was flying in or out of LAX, but it seems like his travel plans weren't too disrupted: "I was in Terminal 4, [American Airlines], and must've been one of the last flights that made it out this morning before the airport was closed."

We too have the victims in our thoughts, but we're glad that this leader of the Bachelor Nation seems safe and sound.
