Being a lifelong lover of the Bachelor makes fans pretty good at dealing with change. You wanna send out more bachelorettes or bring back a Bachelor who left a pretty bad taste in our mouth the first time around? No big deal. But when it comes to Chris Harrison, you better not mess.

In the new Life & Style, an insider shares with the magazine some news that makes us feel completely conflicted. After a recent co-hosting gig on The View, a source says they want him to sit at the 17-year-old round table permanently. “Everyone loved him. They think he’d be a good fit.”

The show has seen a number of changes recently, with both Joy Behar and Elisabeth Hasselbeck leaving, and none of the original hosts still onboard. “Producers are looking for a man to co-host,” the insider says. Chris would join Barbara Walters, Sherri Shepherd, Whoopi Goldberg, and newest castmember Jenny McCarthy.

The source says the main motivation for choosing Chris is to compete with Fox’s The Real, which returns this fall, and CBS’s The Talk. He has an obvious draw, given that he’s handsome, has a billion fans (conservative estimate), and has more hosting experience in his pinky than any other man in the world (step away, Mario Lopez).

We would totally support more Harrison in our house if for one little thing: The Bachelor and The Bachelorette. Both shows require a ton of time from him, and while he’s always done side gigs like the Miss America pageant and guest-hosting duties on everything from The View to Katie, we don’t want him to get burnt out. Or, worse, leave the roses behind completely.

What do you think of this news: Would you support Chris Harrison moving on to a new show, do you think he could do both, or do you want him to commit his whole life to The Bachelor? Share your thoughts below!
