It’s been a difficult year for Chris Soules, who has remained mostly out of the public eye since his fatal car crash in April.

But for the first time since being charged with a felony hit-and-run — for the accident that caused 66-year-old Kenneth Mosher’s death — he’s been spotted having a good time out.

And he chose a pretty interesting dining partner for his NYC date!

While the Bachelor 2015 star awaits his January 2018 court datepushed back from July 19 — he was recently granted permission by the court to travel to the Big Apple.

We found out over the weekend that was to attend fellow alum Sharleen Joynt’s wedding, alongside a number of his franchise pals.

In addition to fellow Bachelor Nick Viall, Chris’s ex Andi Dorfman — he was second runner-up on her Bachelorette season, if you forgot — was also in attendance.

Photos of the two at the nuptials showed them looking particularly friendly.

It must’ve been a good reunion. Two days later, the Dancing With the Stars alum and Andi were spotted grabbing a bite at Manhattan restaurant The Dubliner.

Though this shot has them looking pretty distracted with their phones, we hear it was a positive lunch date.

You might not want to get your hopes up for a new Bachelor Nation couple, though.

Sources close to the 30-year-old gal tell TMZ the former reality stars are “just friends.”

That’s probably for the best. The 35-year-old hunk has a lot on his plate right now with his ongoing case.

If convicted of the fleeing the scene of an accident resulting in death, he faces up to five years in prison.

Originally, there was talk that he could be behind bars for decades, after he was captured on camera purchasing alcohol just over an hour prior to the incident.

However, legal docs later cleared him of any DUI speculation.

The paperwork says he tested “negative for drugs and alcohol” post-crash, limiting his charge to that of fleeing the scene of a fatal accident.
