Chris Soules Wearing an Ankle Monitor After Arrest, Deletes Social Media (UPDATE)
UPDATE (4/27/2017 at 8:25 a.m. ET):
Chris Soules is basically on house arrest.
Following his arrest Monday night for allegedly fleeing the scene of a deadly car crash, the Bachelor 2015 star is wearing an ankle monitor at his home in Arlington, Iowa before his next court date.
"Chris has a location-monitoring device on his leg and had to surrender his passport," the insider tells Us Weekly, noting this was done because the 35-year-old previously "had plans to leave the country."
The source adds the farmer hasn't left his house since the accident, but his family and friends are keeping him company at home.
Chris is due in court on May 2.
Meanwhile, another report claims Whitney Bischoff's ex's call log will help determine his fate.
Police will do an investigation to see if Chris was distracted by his phone at the time of the accident, and they "seized his phone and they will be looking at texts, photos, social media posts and his call log," TMZ reports.
Chris has since deleted his social media accounts.

UPDATE (4/26/2017 at 11:45 a.m. ET):
We’re now learning that Chris Soules called 911 following the fatal car crash he was involved with on Monday night.
The call, obtained by TMZ, features an emotional Chris breathing heavily into the phone as he tries to relay the situation to the dispatcher.
He gives the details of the accident, explaining that the tractor driver — who we now know as 66-year-old Kenneth Mosher — was thrown into a ditch, leaving him injured and unconscious.
He also notes that the victim is not breathing and is bleeding from the mouth. When he checks his pulse, he says he feels something.
After that, the dispatcher asks if someone could administer CPR and that’s when you hear the Dancing With the Stars alum interacting with others around him.
Though the 35-year-old says he doesn’t know how to perform the live-saving procedure, you do hear someone doing it soon after — possibly Chris himself.
What we can gather from here is he wasn’t alone on the scene and he did attempt to help the man. It’s unclear why he left prior to officials’ arrival.

UPDATE (4/25/2017 at 2:45 p.m. ET):
We now know the identity of the driver killed in the fatal car crash allegedly caused by Chris Soules — and in a heartbreaking turn, the former Bachelor knew him.
The deceased tractor driver was 66-year-old Kenneth E. Mosher, according to the Iowa State Patrol Report — a neighbor of the reality star.
Richard Roepke, a relative of Kenneth, tells RadarOnline.com the family is “in shock” over the news.
“He knew them, they’re neighbors,” the Iowa resident reveals. “We’re feeling very sad, everyone knows Chris’ family.”
He continues, “Chris has created his own problems. This is life changing for him. He has to deal with it himself. This isn’t the direction his family wanted him to go in.”
Additionally, Richard says he’s not surprised alcoholic beverage containers were found at the scene.
“It’s Chris’ age and generation, it’s not right,” he states. “It was huge mistake. That will haunt him for the rest of his life.”
The Midwestwern hunk has a documented history of alcohol-related offenses. In 2005, a then-23-year-old Chris was arrested for Operating While Intoxicated, Iowa's term for driving under the influence.
At the time, he was sentenced to a $500 fine, a 60-day jail sentence, a 58-day suspended jail sentence, and a year of probation.
The court docs also clarify Chris’s current charge qualifies as a Class D felony, punishable by up to five years in prison.
He posted a $10,000 cash bond earlier today and was then released. A preliminary hearing is set for May 2.

Original story (4/25/2017 at 10:00 a.m. ET):
Some shocking news surrounding the man formerly known as Prince Farming.
According to police documents obtained by TMZ, the incident occurred in the reality star’s native Iowa at 8:20 p.m..
The Dancing With the Stars alum was driving his Chevy pickup truck, and allegedly rear-ended a John Deere tractor trailer, which sent it into a ditch.
Though the 35-year-old is said to be at fault, he failed to wait around for the ambulance or police officials to arrive on the scene.
The other driver was then rushed to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead not long after.
Officials later apprehended Chris hours later at 1:16 a.m.. People reports he was not charged with driving under the influence, though police tell TMZ he was in possession of alcoholic beverage containers at the time of the crash.
They then brought him into custody, where he's said to have received medical attention. After he was determined well enough, he was charged with leaving the scene with a death.
At 10:45 a.m. ET, a photo of the farmer was released showing him in court at his arraignment, dressed in a neon green jumpsuit and orange slippers.
