UPDATE (5/24/2017 at 9:10 a.m. ET):

After a scary incident Monday when 1-year-old Brayden El Moussa fell into the family's pool, the son of Christina and Tarek El Moussa is said to be "doing great."

"[Brayden] is doing great and is happy and laughing as usual," a source tells People of the Flip or Flip couple's youngest.

The insider goes on to say that Christina bringing the toddler to receive medical treatment was simply a precaution, and nothing to be alarmed about.

“Christina wanted to be overly cautious by taking him to the hospital," the source explains, "because she does not take this incident lightly."

Original story (5/23/2017 at 3:30 p.m. ET):

Christina El Moussa may be used to dealing with mommy shamers, but defending her parenting skills to child services is entirely new territory.

The mom of two was recently questioned heavily by the social services sector after her 1-year-old son, Brayden, fell into their pool.

The incident happened on Monday, May 22, when the Flip or Flop host's two children — Brayden, 1, and Taylor, 6 — were playing by the pool with their nanny. (Christina wasn't home at the time.)

Sometime during the play date, the toddler made his way to the pool's edge and fell right in.

The baby was quickly rescued by the nanny, who informed the HGTV star of what happened when she got home. However, as a precaution, the blonde beauty still rushed her son to the hospital to check if there was any water in his lungs.

The boy checked out fine. But child services still detained the real-estate investor and her nanny at the hospital for questioning before they could go home.

The department found no further action necessary and let the family go.

Christina's ex-husband and her children's father, Tarek, was immediately notified. The star's nanny also still has her job, according to TMZ.

However, this isn't the first time the reality star has faced criticism for putting her son at risk of drowning.

In a now-deleted Instagram post, which showed Taylor enjoying a sleepover with Brayden inching towards a pool in the background, the divorced mom was slammed for her negligent parenting.

She, of course, shot back in the comments at all the overreactors.

"1. It’s a beach entry if he fell in it’s only a foot high, he would be ok 2. It’s not his first time in or around the pool, but thanks for your ‘concern’ aka judgment 3. AND most importantly I am right there and could be to him in 3 seconds SMH at this …..!!!!” Yikes!" she wrote.

So lucky to meet @claytonjennings1 and watch him do his thing this morning!!! #spokenwords
