Watch Christina Grimmie Sing on The Voice 2014 Live Finals, May 19, 2014 (VIDEO)

On May 19, Team Adam Levine singer Christina Grimmie gave a rousing performance of “Wrecking Ball” by Miley Cyrus.

Christina first sang this fan pick for her Blind Audition, earning a four-chair turn. Descending from the rafters on what looked like a giant spider web, the YouTube star seemed to struggle with some of the high notes toward the beginning, but definitely regained the powerhouse pop vocal that made her a favorite early on in the season.

Blake Shelton wasn’t surprised that this song was America’s pick for her, and that it reminded him of the Christina that made him excited to see her each week. Usher said it reminded him of how badly he wanted her to be on his team from the very beginning. Shakira said that Christina has the highest register of anyone left in the competition — which, duh, of course she does. She’s the only girl left. That said, we think Shak meant in terms of range, which is indeed impressive.

Coach Adam said he felt like he was watching Christina perform her single on some big awards show and completely forgot that Christina is actually still competing to win a competition.
