Christina Hendricks Never Wears Sweatpants: “I Can’t Do That to My Husband”
Mad Men star Christina Hendricks is on the cover of Lucky, and inside she talks about her love for fashion.
"Getting to wear beautiful fashion is the most fun part of the job that has nothing to do with the job,” she said. Fans are used to seeing her in tight dresses and skirts as Mad Men's Joan, and she always wears glam gowns on the red carpet, but she does wear pants “all the time." Just not sweatpants.
“I can’t do that to my husband, not after just three years of marriage," Christina said. She and actor Geoffrey Arend were married in October 2009.
"At home, I put on a low-cut caftan, and he’s like, ‘Babe, you look great.’ Caftans are just the perfect solution to what to wear at home. I love Camilla Franks’, but I also get great vintage ones on eBay.”
She said she's also a fan of strapless dresses — especially ones that are structured well enough that they don't require a bra. “Christian Siriano makes his dresses that way,” Christina said of the Project Runway alum. “It makes me feel so taken care of.” She kinda needs to be taken care of in that sense.

Chances are, Christina's hubby would be just fine seeing her in sweatpants, a trash bag, or even one of Miley Cyrus's crazy onesies. He's the "Lucky" one!
