Christina Milian Talks Leaving The Voice: Will She Return Next Season? — Exclusive
From one hit reality show to the next, Christina Milian is geared up for a comeback. The former Disney recording artist-turned-actress spent three seasons as The Voice’s social media correspondent, asking contestants and coaches questions in the Sprint Skybox.
Now she’s taken Season 5 off to compete in Season 17 of Dancing With the Stars. After a riveting premiere, Christina’s been labeled one of the stars to watch this season.
Wetpaint Entertainment caught up with the singer at Bellafortuna Emmy gifting suite on September 17 where she reflected on her time with The Voice, and talked about a potential return.
Wetpaint Entertainment: What will you miss about doing The Voice this season?
Christina Milian: I’ll miss Blake [Shelton] especially. Blake is one of my favorite people over there. He’s just such a great person and such a great guy.
But I feel like I’ve been on the other side of asking the questions enough, now it’s going to be fun for me to be the competitor.
Will you return to the show?
Maybe! I’m definitely more than welcome. It’s a family over there. Nobody’s ever really gone. Like, I’m sure Usher will be back next season. It’s never a peace out or you’re fired or whatever. It’s like, you take your break and do what you want to do and then come back
There are rumors you’re engaged…
I’ve heard those rumors! Love is in the air. Yeah, that’s all I’ve got.
