Congratulations may be in order for Christina Ricci and her husband, James Heerdegen. Sources have confirmed to Us Weekly that the couple has welcomed their first child — a boy!
The 34-year-old former child star's reps haven't confirmed the news yet, but the timing would be about right. We first caught a glimpse of her super-visible baby bump back in May, and she seemed to be pretty far along in her pregnancy at the time! Her rep confirmed the happy news to People soon after.
The star of such '90s classics as Casper and The Addams Family met hubby James while he was working as a dolly grip on the set of the short-lived ABC drama Pan Am in 2011. Their romance would, thankfully, far outlast the critically-panned series. They confirmed their engagement in February 2013 and tied the knot that October — right around Halloween. If he has indeed arrived, the baby boy is their first child.
Since Pan Am, Christina has returned to her gothed-up roots, starring as the famous, titular parricidal daughter in the Lifetime movie Lizzie Borden Took an Ax, which premiered this past January. She also provided the voice of Vexy in The Smurfs 2 — and, appropriately, she's currently filming the drama Mothers Day opposite Susan Sarandon, Sharon Stone, and Laura Dern.
Congratulations to the brand-new family!
