Claire Holt Visits a Haunted House — “I Have Really Sweaty Hands” (VIDEO)

We came to know and love Claire Holt on The Vampire Diaries as she played the sassy Rebekah Mikaelson, but it’s on The Originals that we’re getting to see a whole new side to the actress as she steps in as a leading lady. But just because she’s a vampire hanging out with other supernatural creatures on a TV show, the actress revealed just how frightened she gets during an adorable Extra interview.

Everything was going fine during the first part of the interview. Claire was talking about the easy transition from TVD to The Originals. “It was a really simple transition, it was something we always saw coming — or hoped would happen. But now we have more time to explore the characters and delve into the world of New Orleans.”

And she even told us why fans love Rebekah — as if she had to explain that! “I think she’s relatable,” Claire said. “People sometimes love to hate her, but she also has a side to her that is soft and naive and she wants to be loved. So I think fans really adopted that and picked up on that and I hope they continue to like her so I can still have a job.”

During the freshman season of the spin-off, we Claire revealed that we can expect to see Rebekah with “some hunky men...potentially.” Geez it’s such a hard job, right? Right, Claire insisted. “It’s really hard to go to work and watch handsome men take their shirts off.”

But the real fun came when the interviewer took Claire through a haunted house, with seemingly everything frightening the Aussie actress. “I have really sweaty hands! Hello, boys!” We love you, Claire. Don’t ever change.
