Prepare yourselves, Once Upon a Time fans: the hit ABC fairy tale drama is headed to 2013 Comic-Con — and bringing along its spin-off, Once Upon a Time in Wonderland!
The network announced on June 20 that both shows’ creators (Adam Horowitz and Eddy Kitsis) and select members of the cast will attend the annual convention in San Diego, with both taking place on Saturday, July 20. According to Adam's tweet on July 6, the Wonderland panel is up first at 10:15 a.m., and then they go right into the OUAT one at 11 a.m.!
For OUAT, we'll see Lana Parrilla (Regina), Robert Carlyle (Rumplestiltskin), Jennifer Morrison (Emma), Ginnifer Goodwin (Snow), Josh Dallas (Prince Charming), Colin O'Donoghue (Hook), Emilie de Ravin (Belle), and Michael Raymond-James (Neal), and for Wonderland, everyone but John Lithgow (The White Rabbit) will appear — Sophie Lowe (Alice), Michael Socha (Knave of Hearts), Peter Gadiot (Cyrus), and Emma Rigby (The Red Queen). Sadly, Barbara Hershey (Cora/The Queen of Hearts) won't be at either panel, but we kind of expected that.
As if that’s not enough, there will also be more magical moments as the ABC booth will host autograph sessions with the casts and there will be ABC-branded pedicabs decorated to look like the Evil Queen’s carriage, The Jolly Roger, and Alice’s magical mushroom!
Lastly, though not directly related to the two series, ABC is also bringing Marvel Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Joss Whedon’s Avengers TV show. That panel will take place on Friday, July 19, and is equally magical — just in a different way. Also worth noting: Once Upon a Time writer/consulting producer Jane Espenson will also be at the convention with her web series Husbands, perhaps even participating in the OUAT panels, too!
