Tyra Banks Confirms Life-Size Sequel: It Will Be “Very Modern”

Hey, '90s kids: Remember that awesome movie Life-Size from 2000? You know, the one where Casey Stuart (Lindsay Lohan) adorably tried resurrect her mom back to life but accidently brought her doll, Eve, to life? Miss Tyra Banks herself just confirmed that the quintessential Disney movie is getting a sequel!

“I have a meeting today to go over the script!” Tyra told Digital Spy. “I swear! I don’t think it’ll be out until probably 2015, but I’m guessing it could be late 2014 or 2015. But it will be back — Life-Size will be back, better than ever.”

Be still, our beating hearts.

Tyra, who played Eve in the first film, wasn’t able to say much about the sequel, and she didn’t say whether or not LiLo would be reprising her role as Casey. Either way, we’re thrilled the sequel is actually happening and that pre-production is underway.

“I can’t [tell you anything] unfortunately,” the America’s Next Top Model host continued. “I’m under contract with Disney and I can’t talk about it at all, except that it’s coming.” We totes understand, girl.

“But it will be very different, very different. Very modern — a modern take,” Tyra concluded. We’ll take what we can get!

And just in case you need any more convincing, Tyra even confirmed the sequel via Twitter. A fan tweeted at the model, saying, “Don’t play games with my heart. I need answers. @tyrabanks is this real life?” Tyra had only three words to answer: “Tis true, love.”

We don’t know about you guys, but we’re freaking out.

What do you think about the Life-Size sequel? Hit the comments and let us know!
