Connie Britton on Returning to American Horror Story: “I Would Do Anything” — Exclusive

Since Season 1 of American Horror Story (“Murder House”) premiered and showed us the dark side of Connie Britton, we’ve been itching for her to return and get down and dirty with the spooky anthology series all over again. And according to the Nashville star herself, she’s willing to do whatever it takes to return to the hit FX show!

“I would do anything that Ryan Murphy wanted me to,” Connie told Wetpaint Entertainment exclusively at the 5th Annual African Children’s Choir Gala on November 21.

Wow, we already knew Connie was down to return to the hit anthology series, but we didn’t know she would do anything the creator wanted her to! Sounds like she knows she’s missing out on all the juicy drama going down on this year’s installment, Coven.

While Connie did dazzle us on AHS, that’s not the reason why we worship her work. You might remember her from a little show called Friday Night Lights on which Connie played Tami Taylor, wife of Eric Taylor, the local high school’s football coach. He was the perfect husband and Tami was the perfect everything (Texas forever, y’all!).

So which of Connie’s on-screen hubbies since Coach Taylor was worse, Ben Harmon (Dylan McDermott) on AHS or Teddy Conrad (Eric Close) on Nashville? “I have to say Ben,” Connie proclaims. Girl, we totally agree. Hopefully she’ll have a better TV husband if she returns to AHS.

Do you want to see Connie return to American Horror Story? Who do you think is the worse TV husband? Hit the comments and let us know!
