Connie Britton on Returning to American Horror Story: “I Hope It Happens”

Connie Britton might soon be taking a break from cowboy boots and rhinestones and heading back to the set of American Horror Story.

The star hasn’t been on the FX series since Season 1 when she played Vivien Harmon, but the actress says she definitely wouldn’t be opposed to making another appearance. And while Connie currently has her hands full starring in ABC’s hit musical drama Nashville, she wouldn’t hesitate to hop a plane to New Orleans, where American Horror Story: Coven is filming.

“I hope so,” Connie told Rolling Stone when asked about returning to AHS. “I’ve actually been talking to them this season, because they’re down in New Orleans and I’m in Nashville. I said, ‘Okay, let’s see if we can try to figure this out.’”

For Connie, an appearance on the show might just come down to logistics and shooting schedules.

“I’m like, ‘I’ll put that on and jump on a plane and go to New Orleans,’” she said. “Yes, I would do that. As long as we can figure it out with both productions, I’m in. I hope it happens.”

Ryan Murphy take note!
