Cory Monteith Death: Chris Colfer Breaks Silence, Remembers His “Buddy”

In the wake of Cory Monteith's tragic death on July 13, Chris Colfer is just now speaking publicly about his friend, colleague, and frequent scene partner — having posted a touching tribute to his Instagram account.

Sharing a screenshot of from a press junket interview in which he and Cory are seated side-by-side, Chris writes, "I'll never forget all the laughs we shared or the faces we made after awkward interview questions. Love and miss you, buddy. (See the photo below.)

Yesterday's post comes nearly two weeks after Cory's passing — and the same day as a private gathering the Glee cast and crew held in Cory's honor on the Paramount lot.

Fellow cast members Amber Riley, Dianna Agron, Harry Shum Jr., Naya Rivera, Chord Overstreet, Jane Lynch, Matthew Morrison, and Jane Lynch have also commented or released statements paying tribute to Cory.

As of the time of this post, 49,000 Instagram users have liked the post.
