Cory Monteith Death: Fans Honor Star With Memorial Outside His Hotel

In the difficult days since Cory Monteith’s sudden death, Gleeks and non-Gleeks alike have contributed to a growing memorial outside the Fairmont Pacific Rim, the hotel in downtown Vancouver, B.C., where the Glee star was found on July 13.

The memorial includes teddy bears, cards, and flowers, all honoring the actor best-known for his role as football-star-turned-leading-man Finn Hudson on the FOX show.

Among the visitors to the memorial was Cory’s cousin Richard, who added a bouquet to the pile of gifts. Although he didn’t stay long, Richard told Global News he’d last seen his cousin a couple of months ago. Cory’s father, who lives across the country in New Brunswick, arrived in Vancouver late on Sunday.

Our hearts go out to Cory’s family and friends during what we can only imagine must be an incredibly difficult time. Click through to see how other fans are coping with this tragic loss.
