The Glee star was found in his room at the Fairmont Pacific Rim Hotel in Vancouver. No one was with the 31-year-old actor when he died, according to security cameras, and the Vancouver police will not deny nor confirm the presence of drug paraphernalia in the room. But Cory is expected to have died of a drug overdose, since he has just exited rehab on his own free will not too long ago.
Kim has been mum on Twitter, sending only a few select birthday wishes to close friends and family, but news of this tragic death made the reality star send out a message via the social media platform.
"Just heard about the death of Cory Monteith. So sad. Prayers 4 his family. Praying 4 Lea too! Words cant describe what they must be feeling," Kim wrote. But she wasn't the only Kardashian to take to Twitter to send her wishes and prayers.
Kendall Jenner tweeted, "Wow! RIP Cory Monteith. Such a nice guy. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends. #RIP." Both Kendall and Kylie tweeted a photo of them with Cory. Their big sis Khloe Kardashian tweeted, "Wow! What tragic news! So sad! Prayers are with his family and loved ones :( #RipCoryMonteith."
It looks like the whole Kardashian clan is feeling the same way the world is feeling after learning the tragic news. Our thoughts go out to Lea Michele, Cory's Glee family and biological family, and his friends.
