Glee star Lea Michele has proven that she can handle tough situations, remaining strong after boyfriend Cory Monteith’s fatal drug overdose back in July. Though it’s clear that his loss still affects her, it looks like Lea’s heart might be moving on to another guy.
According to Us Weekly, Lea was recently overheard at a Hollywood party talking about a cute boy. “She was excited he was coming,” an insider revealed to the mag.
But don’t think that means Lea has completely moved on from Cory. “She talks about Cory constantly,” the source continued. “She tries to remember the good times.”
It’s pretty clear that Lea is still reeling from the tragic news, always keeping Cory in her heart. If you’ve heard her cover of Bob Dylan’s “Make You Feel My Love” that will be featured in the October 10 Cory Monteith tribute episode of Glee, you know what we mean.
We’re bracing ourselves for the tribute episode (titled “The Quarterback”) and we know that it’s going to be an emotional rollercoaster ride for fans — but just imagine being the actors and friends of Cory, who had to wear their emotions on their sleeves for the episode.
Ryan Murphy, co-creator of Glee, recently revealed that how tough it was for Lea especially to film. “It was very hard… It was rough. It was very rough. It was very rough with Lea Michele… but I’m very proud of it. I think the performances are quite stunning,” he said. “People still are not over it. It’s still very, very difficult.”
Our thoughts are with Lea on the eve of the tribute episode. Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments below.
