Glee Set After Cory Monteith’s Death: We’re at a “New Normal”

Things on the Glee set will obviously never be the same after Cory Monteith passed away in July. But it sounds like the show's stars and crew are doing whatever they can to keep their heads up.

Glee star Jane Lynch (Sue) tells Entertainment Weekly that everyone on the show is doing their best to move on, but that Cory will always be with them.

"Well, we’re at a new normal, to quote the name of Ryan’s other show," Jane says, referring to Ryan Murphy's short-lived NBC sitcom, The New Normal. "We’re in a new normal, and it’s without Cory, who was such a big part of it."

"It’s like how anyone deals with grief," she says. "You weave that into the fabric of your life, and you weave it into your experience, and so he will always be there. We have his beautiful face on a plaque in the choir room, so we look at him every day. The sun rises and sets, doesn’t it? It continues."

Meanwhile, Jane was asked how Sue would stay with the show if the action moves entirely to NYC later this season, as has been rumored. "Someone actually said to me today, 'Wouldn’t it be interesting if Sue went to New York and did a one-person show, and got financiers and the whole thing, and it was st?'" Jane offers. "Or maybe it’s fantastic."

Okay, so the wheels are starting to turn on ways to get Sue to the Big Apple. That's what we like to hear!
