Could Teresa Giudice Lose Her Home in Fraud Case? Report

How bad could things get for Teresa Giudice?

In March, the Real Housewives of New Jersey star and husband Joe pleaded guilty to multiple charges of fraud; sentencing is scheduled for July 8. In the meantime, a source told RadarOnline, law enforcement has been keeping a close eye on Teresa.

“The judge and the prosecutor are aware that Teresa could still be trying to hide money.” You may recall the hubbub about Teresa’s recent book-signing, where she accepted cash-only, without issuing receipts, which reportedly raised some red flags.

“The feds are threatening to take Joe and Teresa’s homes, cars and future earnings, all to pay the settlement if she can’t come up with the money,” said the insider. “If she continues to flout the law in their faces, things could get worse for her… before they get better!”

Yikes. If you do the crime, you should accept the punishment, but they have four young daughters who will also be punished if their home is taken away. It’s hard to cheer that on.

Whatever happens, we’ll see at least some of Teresa’s legal woes play out on RHoNJ Season 6, which recently finished taping. Teresa’s crisis manager/legal coach Wendy Feldman told RumorFix, “Bravo and the production company treated this with respect,” noting that it was a collaborative effort that preserved the things that needed to be preserved.
