We Still Don’t Know if We’re Getting Another Season of ‘Counting On’ (UPDATE)
UPDATE (11/6/17 at 9:08 a.m. ET):
We still don’t know if Counting On will be returning for another season.
Season 7 wrapped up on October 23 with Joseph Duggar’s wedding, but we’ve still heard nothing from TLC about the future of the show.
And, according to Lily and Ellie, the creators of The Original Duggar Family Fan Blog, they haven’t heard anything either.
“As of right now, a new season has not been announced. But we will let you know as soon as it is,” they wrote.
Not to mention, Derick Dillard has been hit with cheating allegations and was involved in the Jazz Jennings controversy a few months ago, so we wouldn't be too surprised of the show got the boot.

Another show bites the dust?!
Now, though their spin-off Counting On was doing well for awhile, new reports claim the viewership has slowly decreased.
In fact, the studio is unsure if they’ll renew the show for another season.
The season finale of Counting On aired on Monday, October 23, and it may be the last episode for the Duggar family.
It was all about Joseph Duggar’s wedding to his wife, Kendra Caldwell, but will it be enough to save the show from cancellation?
According to Hollywood Gossip, the show has slowly lost viewers and advertisements since the mess that was Josh Duggar’s scandals.
“The good news is that Joseph and Kendra’s one-hour wedding special is scheduled to air Monday on TLC,” a source said.
“The not-so-good news is that the wedding special is also the Counting On season finale.”
Meanwhile, on Monday’s episode, Joseph and Kendra shared their first kiss after saying “I do.”
“It is my privilege and it is my honor, not only as their pastor but as [Kendra’s] father and now Joe’s new father, to pronounce them husband and wife,” Kendra’s dad said, who officiated the ceremony.
“You may kiss your bride.”
The pair shared a romantic first kiss and both said “I love you” afterwards.
“This is the best ever. It was the best kiss ever,” Kendra said.
Despite it being the perfect day, the power went out in the church, which caused a bit of a disturbance.
“The power went out I guess in the city, so we are trying to light everything with candle light,” Jana Duggar said.
“Everything else is kind of shut down right now, but we have all the food cooked [and] everything already set out,” Jedidiah Duggar added.
“I think everybody still has smiles on their faces and is having a good time.”
Well, they won’t have a smile on their faces if the show gets canceled! Do you think it’ll get renewed? Sound off below!
