However, the two don’t seem to talk anymore. And when Dianna wasn’t asked to appear in Glee’s Cory Monteith tribute, rumors flew that it was because Lea can’t stand her. Say what? But that’s how the story went. Apparently, Lea and Glee creator Ryan Murphy “intensely dislike Dianna and have both worked to marginalize her as much as possible.”
Of course, this is all just gossip, and neither Lea nor Dianna have ever confirmed anything of the sort. Di hasn’t been on Glee lately, choosing instead to focus on pursuing her movie career. During a recent Showbiz 411 interview in the UK, where Dianna was promoting her Robert De Niro film, The Family, the former Glee star was asked point-blank whether she and Lea were still friends.
“Yeah,” Dianna says, smiling and nodding her head. “You know, of course.”
But just for the record, Di seems a bit tired of having this subject discussed again and again. “It’s unfortunate because every time we bring this up, it just keeps keeps going,” she says. “You know? We could be talking about this for the next year, so...” Her voice trails off.
Lea and Di probably won’t be having girls’s nights or sleepovers anytime soon, but that doesn’t mean they hate each others guts. Fair? Fair. Okay, moving on.
