It looks like Courtney Stodden’s talents don’t end at posing with her mouth open and marrying an old guy, after all!
The star (of what exactly, we’re not sure) seems to have plenty of free time on her hands, now that she’s no longer contractually obligated to pose in short shorts alongside her estranged husband, former Lost star Doug Hutchison, and it seems she’s putting it to good use.
The 19-year-old aspiring singer proved that she’s been working on her pipes with a new Instagram video, in which she covers Britney Spears’ hit “(I Got That) Boom Boom” from the privacy of her car, and we’ve got to hand it to her — she’s pretty good!
While it remains to be seen if Courtney’s reputation as an underage bride will help or hinder her as she tries to break into the record industry, but it seems as though she’s already made some serious progress on her voice.
Just four years ago, when Courtney was dating a 50-something instead of doing normal kid stuff, like being a high school sophomore, she released “Don’t Put it On Me,” a drum and guitar heavy single about what she believes to be her undeniable and universal attractiveness.
While we don’t know if Court’s taste in picking songs has evolved since then, it’s good to see she’s found something to do that’s a little less creepy than her previous hobbies.
What do you think of Courtney’s voice?
