Actor Zachary Quinto played crucial parts in American Horror Story’s first two instalments, first as a Chad Warwick — one half of the gay couple that once lived in that cursed house — and then as Dr. Oliver Thredson, a psychiatrist who turns out to be the real Bloody Face killer.
So with the series’ third instalment — Coven — premiering on October 9, can viewers expect more creepy Quinto? According to TVLine, Zachary’s return to Horror is up in the air. He tells the site that there are “No plans so far, but we’ll see how that goes as the season unfolds.”
Given that Zachary is currently starring on Broadway in The Glass Menagerie, it’s likely that any AHS return would be difficult to arrange. Still, he’s totally on board, should the opportunity present itself once again. “I’m always open to it. I’ve been so grateful for the opportunity to work with all those people, so if I can do it again I would love to,” he concluded.
As we’ve already told you, AHS: Coven will simultaneously follow present-day witches in New Orleans, New Orleans in the 1970s, and New Orleans in the 1830s. With three different eras, surely there’s room for Zachary in there somewhere, right?
