Kanye West Criticizes Fan in Wheelchair for Not Standing During Concert (VIDEO)
Kanye West might want to tinker with the way that he gets his fans pumped up at future concerts.
The notoriously temperamental rapper performed a concert in Sydney over the weekend and stopped the show because two of the concertgoers weren't standing. One of them was in a wheelchair, and one had a prosthetic limb, but Kanye apparently refused to believe this.
The issue started when Kim Kardashian's hubby told his fans that he wouldn't sing another song until everyone in the arena was on their feet. The rapper joked that they should be standing "unless you got a handicap pass where you get special parking and s—t."
Kanye then noticed the two people who weren't standing, and he called them out, leading some of the audience members to actually start a chant demanding that they stand. "This is the longest I've had to wait to do the song — it's unbelievable," Kanye groused.
He sent his security team over to inspect the situation, but even then, Kanye seemed reluctant to accept that the pair had a legitimate reason for not standing. "You say it's cool, it's a wheelchair?" Kanye confirmed with his team before finally performing the next song.
Do you think Kanye should be ashamed of his behavior, or was this just an honest mistake?
