We know how things stand between Real Housewives of Atlanta stars Kenya Moore and NeNe Leakes (spoiler alert: it’s not great), but we always sort of lumped NeNe’s bestie Cynthia Bailey in the anti-Kenya team, by default. Turns out, we were way off base. In fact, Cynthia devoted her entire BravoTV blog this week to the twirling diva and her quest for a baby — and it was all super supportive!
It’s not entirely shocking to see Cynthia being so understanding of Kenya and her desire for offspring. Not only has Cynthia proven herself to be a genuinely nice person, but she’s also a mother herself, to daughter Noelle, 14. So when Kenya brought Cynthia, NeNe, and Kandi along for her fertility ritual in Mexico, she was supportive of her efforts.
“Although I was a little skeptical in the beginning, I really enjoyed being there with NeNe and Kandi to support Kenya,” the supermodel writes, continuing, “When all is said and done, women need to support each other and what they stand for. I am glad to have experienced this positive reinforcement.”
And she didn’t just stop there. Cynthia explains that after she experienced motherhood, her whole life changed for the better, and she wishes that for her co-star.
“I sincerely wish Kenya is able to have the unbelievable fulfillment that I felt when I became a mother,” she says. “I feel that Kenya has a strong desire for her own family because of her relationship with her mother. I believe that becoming a mother will not only satisfy Kenya, but also fill this void, giving her an overwhelming feeling of completeness ... God willing and when the time is right, Kenya will be the mother that she never had. I am hopeful that Kenya is walking into her time and moment for this precious gift!”
This is too sweet! Forget all the catfighting and shade-throwing, let’s focus on this ladies: positive reinforcement!
“I believe Kenya is destined to be an amazing mother one day to an equally blessed child. Being a mother to Noelle is the one thing I am most proud of. There is nothing like a mother's love, and the unconditional love of a child.”
Now please excuse us, we’ve got something in our eye…
