Cynthia Bailey Talks Recovery From Uterine Fibroids (VIDEO)

Cynthia Bailey revealed on a recent episode of Real Housewives of Atlanta that she's been suffering from uterine fibroids. So how is she doing now?

Cynthia appeared on Watch What Happens Live this week and tells host Andy Cohen about her road to recovery.

"My recovery's doing great," she says about her battle with fibroids, which are noncancerous growths of the uterus.

"[Treating it] was the best thing I did, and I'm really glad I did it on television because so many people suffer from fibroids, and people just don't really talk about it," Cynthia adds.

What's surprising is how many of the show's stars have actually suffered from this same issue.

"Kandi had fibroids, Porsha, and also Kenya," Cynthia tells Andy. "Kenya really had really bad fibroids she's still suffering with them now."

After hearing all this, Andy quips, "It's the Real Fibroids of Atlanta."

Cynthia had previously talked about being something of a spokesperson for fibroids. "I really want to be somewhat of a health advocate for 'Hey, take care of yourself,'" she has said. "It’s great to be successful and do all these great things, but I can’t be a role model if I’m not healthy, if I’m not alive."

We wish Cynthia all the best as she continues to recover.
