Who Reached Out to Cynthia Bailey After NeNe Leakes Falling Out? (VIDEO)

In any kind of breakup, whether it’s a friendship ending or a romantic split the shared social group gets put into a tough spot. Everyone says they don’t want to pick sides in the separation, but in the end, you sort of have to. So this had us wondering: Where does everyone fall in the NeNe Leakes-Cynthia Bailey post-Season 6 falling out?

Watching the Real Housewives of Atlanta stars’ longtime, real friendship fizzle on-screen over the past few weeks has been a bit of a bummer — and not just for the viewers. Most of the women’s co-stars on the Bravo series were just as shocked to see NeNe declare on Watch What Happens Live on April 20 that she and Cynthia were “not cool anymore.”

Then, two weeks later (in real time — though it had been pre-taped), the Housewives appeared on Andy Cohen’s reunion couches to talk out their issues, and Cynthia and NeNe faced off about Cynthia’s renewed frustrations about NeNe calling Peter a “bitch.” Cynthia is now talking about that uncomfortable reunion and the end of their bestie-ship.

“I didn’t expect her to be so cold and dismissive and mean,” Cynthia tells OK! Magazine this week, adding that it still didn’t feel real that they weren’t speaking. “It was even weird not sitting next to her at the reunion. That was the first time since I’ve been on the show that I wasn’t seated next to her.”

But that was all before Nene’s one-on-one with Andy aired — the real nail in the coffin for their friendship, Cynthia has said. So did the model hear from anyone about the upsetting episode?

“The night she blew my head off on WWHL, I did hear from Kandi,” Cynthia reveals. “She’s the only one who reached out to just check on me, like, ‘What’s going on? Are you good?’ — that kind of thing. It was good to feel like there was some support out there. And Kenya also reached out.”

It’s no surprise it was Kenya and Kandi that were most Team Cynthia. After all, Kandi and NeNe have had their own issues of loyalty and honesty in the past, and there’s certainly no love lost between Kenya and NeNe. But it’s still good to see that Cynthia has someone to lean on in this tough time. We feel for ya, girl!
